As the newly appointed VP of Marketing and Creative Director, I took it upon myself to set up a CMS based online store for the business. I ended up choosing Shopify for the backend to handle secure purchases. They also offer customizable templates for the interface, which I modified heavily to have all the features I was hoping for.

Online Store Design and CMS
I wanted an easy to use online store where the products were front and center. I hand coded in the featured products section so I could have larger images that could be easily updated. The CMS based backend allows for easily adding new products and images.
Products Page and Search Bar
I added a custom search autocomplete function to the basic included search bar. It now automatically populates options for the search as soon as the user begins typing. This makes searching our store much easier.
Promotional Banners
When there are special sales and promotions I will create a banner to advertise on the home page of the online store. Each one conforms to an initial style guide with specific size and feature guidelines, while using complementary colors.
